So far, so good. It is a newer, very well done tiny home community on the water. I would guess we are one of the first few people to stay in this unit. It is an excellent shape, tastefully decorated. Roomy and comfortable. A very nice porch looking down on the river. Well appointed. The only negative would be the road behind the units by the parking lot with associated traffic noise. If your goal is to sleep in late everyday this may not be the best place for you. During the course of the day it is fine. Would add a couple more chairs on the deck, otherwise appears to be a great deal. Seems to be one parking space per unit. I recently stayed in the Bear unit at Rivers Rest and I cannot say enough great things! The unit itself is very clean and surprisingly spacious even though it is a tiny home. Another great feature of the property is the common area that includes a TV, BBQ, firepit, and ample seating. The property is also very close to Downtown Bryson which has cute shops, eats/ drinks, and the historic train. I loved waking up each morning and having my coffee on the patio next to the Tuckasegee river. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for future stays.

AMAZING!!! My family of 5 stayed in the Trout Tiny home which accommodated us very comfortably! All the necessary amenities within the cabin (including washer and dryer!) with great outdoor spaces on-site to enjoy.  The river , which is right outside your patio, created a very relaxing ambiance and the city is close by with many food and entertainment options to pick from. Wonderful experience at Rivers Rest! Stayed in the Bear unit, which is spacious, yet cozy with all the amenities of home! Awesome gazebo overlooking the river w/ a fire pit, TV, & bbq. Incredible place to stay while away from home on Vacation. These tiny home are equipped with everything as Home. The best views of the river and walking distance to downtown. Down the street from the train station and outdoor adventures. I will definitely be renting here from now on! Very clean and open property. A+ , 5 STAR
